Behind the Rocks Trail Running Vacation: 3 day/2 night
By taking the tasks of route planning, lodging, transportation, and meal preparation out of the hands of guests, 360 Moab Adventures will ensure each guest can focus on running and taking in the breathtaking scenery of our Behind the Rocks tour. Our guides are experienced Moab local runners and great storytellers with extensive knowledge of local history and geology.

Meet Time: 360 Moab Adventures office/ 7am
Trip Description: This luxury running vacation will be at a remote lodge nestled in between 2,000ft red cliffs and the mighty Colorado River. You will have views of Canyonlands National Park, the Colorado River and Dead Horse State Park, from the lodge’s deck or from your room. We will run each day on some of the most beautiful trails in all of canyon country. Guests will trail run like the ancient ones who inhabited this land 1,100 years ago. 360 Trail Guides will even point out unique rock art and artifacts along the trails. There will be a chef preparing four course meals each day while 360 Moab Adventures running guides take you on an amazing journey through geological time. You will also run with 360 Moab Adventures guest runner each day on these amazing trails.
Elite Guest Runner: Ian Torrence – Accomplished ultra-runner, Team Pearl Izumi sponsored runner, and premiere ultra-marathon trainer. Guests will have the opportunity to run with and talk with, one of ultra-runnings legends.
Accomplishments: Has finished 152 ultras, 18 marathons, and have 49 ultra victories
In 1999, finished 16 ultras and 1 marathon in one year and won 12, including: Red Rock Fat Ass 50 km (Las Vegas, NV), San Gabriel Mountains 50 km (Los Angeles, CA), San Juan Trail 50 km (Cleveland National Forest, CA), Zane Grey Highline 50M (Payson, AZ – course record), Catalina Island 100 km (Avalon, CA – course record), Massanutten Mountain 100M (Front Royal, VA – course record), White River 50M (Greenwater, WA – course record), and Bulldog 50 km (Malibu, CA -course record)
3rd and 4th respectively at the 2008 & 2009 USAT&F 100 Mile National Trail Championships (Tahoe Rim Trail 100M)

Thanks! Its not an event but a trip that I’m marketing to all runners. Its a trail running trip I hope to develop more & more with different areas to run and hopefully other great elite runners as guest. I have a Kokopelli permit so im going to offer a 100k distance over 4or 5 days, this trip will have a support vehicle with all of our food,water,gear etc… We will camp along the 100k and see many sites along the way.
